Reminder from TMK Mangement: Remaining Snow/Ice removal

Hello, Yorkshire Village!

Please be reminded that the snow / ice removal on your sidewalks--which include the areas of sidewalk that run in the front of your home along the curbs, as well as along the side of your home along the curb (if you are a corner lot)--are your responsibility to clear.  The Township Ordinance for snow removal gives you 24 hours to do so after a snow event has stopped.  

Inspections late last week, and discussion during Thursday's open session meeting, reflect that there are many areas that have yet been cleared.  You will receive a citation from the township unless you clear the snow and treat the ice.  If you are away right now, it remains your responsibility to hire someone to clear it in your behalf.

Your time and attention in this are required.
